The Hyper Tough 2.5 AMP Corded 5 inch orbital sander is a must have tool for every workbench. The powerful 2.5 AMP motor delivers a continuous no load speed of 13,000 orbits per minute for effortless sanding to remove old finishes, smooth rough wood or other surfaces and to prepare for a final new finish. The soft over-mold housing provides the user a comfortable grip for better control while sanding and lower vibrations to reduce fatigue along with a covered power switch located on the front. The soft base allows for better contact while applying lighter pressure to the tool for more consistent sanding and fewer vibration marks. The sander takes the 5 inch hook back paper sand paper with vent holes which easily align to the base and stay firmly in place. The vent holed paper is preferred for the most efficient use of the dust extraction in the base which feeds into the high performance dust collection bag.
