The Mimi Plange x Nike LeBron 18 Low “Higher Learning” is a collaboration between the fashion designer and Nike Basketball on the low-top edition of LeBron James’s eighteenth signature shoe. Part of a full scale clothing and footwear collection between Plange and Nike, the “Higher Learning” colorway looks to none other than a varsity jacket for design inspiration. References to the classic outerwear piece come into play on various points on the shoe. The Sail chenille Swoosh and chenille tiger patch on the heel mimic the look of detailing found on the academic staple. A split translucent white mesh and yellow suede construction forms the base of the shoe. LeBron’s signature appears in yellow embroidered script on the crimson mesh tongue.
